On April 5th, 2026, peacefully at the Observatory Village Lifecare, Oamaru; aged 90 Years. Treasured and dearly beloved wife of the late Stan, devoted and much loved mother and mother-in-law of Stephen and Julie, Judith and Mike, Lindsey and Margy, Donna and Keith, and the late Vicki. Grandma Joy to Hayley, Beth, Abby and Josh, Jeff, Nick and Jeena, Tim, Josh and Matthew, Reubyn, Bryn and Corbyn and special Great-Grandma Joy to her 16 treasured great-grandchildren.

A service to celebrate Joy's life will be held at Whitestone Funerals, 54 Weston Road, Oamaru on Monday April 13, at 1 p.m., followed by interment at the Oamaru Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to Hato Hone St John would be much appreciated and can be left at the service. Live stream available below.
