Payne, Russell Struan, we are saddened to share that Russell passed away, suddenly, on Thursday, April 30, 2026, aged 85 years. Devoted husband and best friend of Denise for 63 years, dearly loved and adored father of Kerryn, Lynlee, Graham and their partners, treasured Grandad of Kyra, Rearne, Jayde, Sienna and Indi. Loved uncle, brother-in-law and friend to all who knew him.  

A memorial service to celebrate Russell's life will be held at  Whitestone Chapel,54 Weston Road, Oamaru on Saturday 27 June 2026 at 1.30pm.
