Nicolson, Aaron John (Gecko) It is with broken hearts that we let you know that Aaron died suddenly, at work, on Sunday 22 March 2026, at 54 years of age. He was the dearly loved son of Debbie and Malcolm, and the late Barry, brother and brother-in-law to Sarah and Daniel, and uncle of Mackenzie and Oliver. He was also much loved by his aunties, uncles, cousins and close friends. Aaron's family would like to acknowledge and thank the Oceania Gold Emergency Response Team for their care of Aaron. A Memorial celebration of Aaron's life will be held at Whitestone Memorial Gardens, 54 Weston Road, Oamaru on Saturday 28 March 2026 at 2pm.
