Murcott, Mollie Frances, passed away peacefully at the Observatory Village, Oamaru on Thursday 9th July 2026  aged 93.

Dearly loved wife of Harry,* very much loved mother and mother-in-law of Marie* and Mike,* Susan and Peter, Andrew and Martha,* Raewyn and Rex, Kerry and Jak (*denotes deceased.) Much-loved Nan to Thomas and Simon, Hamish, William and Natalie, Daniel and Mitchell, Georgia, Simone and Olivia, Jasmin and Luka and their respective partners and a much-loved great Nan. A special thank you to all the carers from the Royal District nurses, and the staff at the Observatory Village. “We were lucky to have had such a wonderful, loving and fun mother”. A service to celebrate Mollie’s life will be held at Whitestone Chapel, 54 Weston Road, Oamaru on Saturday 25th July at 1:30pm.
