Banks, Barbara Anne (nee Thompson), passed away peacefully at Dunedin hospital on Saturday, 8 August 2026, aged 85. Loved and cherished wife of the late Gordon, much loved Mum of Jane-Anne and Warren Smith, and Helen and Peter Ryder, special Grandma of Nathan, Benjamin, Katelyn and Reegan; Chloe, Brandon and Cameron, and all their partners. Dotting Great Grandma of her 14 great grand children.
" Forever in our Hearts" A celebration of Barbara's life will be held at Whitestone Chapel, 54 Weston Road, Oamaru on Thursday 13 August 2026 at 1.30pm.
